Blackberry Bakery
44 Nashua Road, Londonderry
A traditional neighborhood bakery with a broad pastry case: éclairs, tarts, pies, cannolis, tiramisu, Italian cookies, muffins and danishes. It also publishes a substantial menu of party and specialty cakes.
Good for a spontaneous pastry stop or an ordered cake. Call the bakery for current hours, lead time and any dietary request; its site lists some wheat-free cakes but does not present the whole shop as gluten-free.
A boutique bakeshop focused on gluten-free sweet treats. The weekly case rotates through cupcakes, cheesecakes, macarons, cake slices and nostalgic desserts, while a separate signature-cake collection covers celebrations.
The bakery describes its offerings as gluten-free. Anyone managing a severe allergy or cross-contact concern should still discuss their own needs directly with the shop before ordering.
Sunnycrest makes its bakery goods from scratch on the farm and uses its own fruit and vegetables when in season. The official menu ranges from blueberry muffins and rotating crumb bars to yeast breads, quick breads, bagels and whoopie pies.
Cider donuts are advertised as baked fresh every Saturday. Pair the bakery with the farm market or seasonal picking, and check the farm’s live update because crops and activities change through the year.
Independent shops in neighboring towns for donuts, custom cakes, breads and full bakery-café cases.

Klemm’s Bakery
29 Indian Rock Road, Windham
A classic full-line bakery whose official site highlights more than 40 donut varieties each day, plus muffins, danishes, scones, breads, pies, cookies and pastries.
Walk in for the morning case or plan ahead for a custom cake. Daily selection can change, especially later in the day.
A locally owned doughnut shop focused on fresh, small-batch production and in-shop service. The company notes that availability varies and it sometimes sells out, which makes an earlier visit the safer plan.
The Bedford shop is open for walk-in service. NH Doughnut Co. has separately announced a future Londonderry location for early 2027, but has not yet published its local address or opening date.
A specialty cake shop making celebration cakes from scratch, from birthday cakes to wedding cakes, with cupcakes and whoopie pies also listed by the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber.
Custom work is baked to order, so contact the shop before your event rather than treating it as a last-minute cake stop.

Bittersweet Bake Shoppe
272 Derry Road, Litchfield
A traditional bakeshop with an unusually broad bread list, including pumpernickel, rye, Irish soda bread, French and Italian breads, plus cakes, pies and desserts.
Contact the shop about the day’s case or a custom order before making the trip.
126 North Main Street, Concord · about 35–45 minutes
Why we’d make the drive: this downtown Concord shop keeps the old-fashioned bakery model—handmade from scratch with real, locally sourced ingredients—and gives a bakery stop an easy pairing with a walk around Main Street.
Go for: scratch-made breakfast pastries, cakes, pies and tortes. It is a regular storefront, though custom or holiday orders should be arranged ahead.
10 Commercial Alley, Portsmouth · about 55–70 minutes
Why we’d make the drive: Elephantine’s tiny European-inspired café sits in a cobblestone alley near Market Square, giving its handcrafted croissants, pastries and breads a destination-worthy setting for a Portsmouth day.
Go for: an almond or pistachio croissant, bread and a slow café stop. The shop offers walk-in café service and online pickup ordering; cakes are available by order.
Walk-in treatStart with Blackberry, Lucciano’s, Sunnycrest, Klemm’s, NH Doughnut Co., Buckley’s or Bittersweet. Check current hours and remember that popular morning items can sell out.
Bread & breakfastSunnycrest and Bittersweet publish broad bread lists; Buckley’s pairs pastries with a full café breakfast and lunch menu.
Celebration cakeBlackberry and Lucciano’s publish cake collections. Carina’s and Chickadee Hill focus on made-to-order celebration work; Chickadee Hill is appointment only.
Dietary needsLucciano’s describes its bakeshop as gluten-free. Other bakeries may list selected alternatives, but discuss ingredients and cross-contact directly when it matters.
How this guide was researched
Researched September 2026 from each bakery’s official website or, where no standalone site was available, a current chamber business profile and the business’s own social page. This is a curated local guide, not a ranking. Chains and thin directory listings were excluded. Published specialties, addresses and ordering models were checked against primary sources; readers should confirm current hours, availability, allergen practices and order lead times directly.
